방탄소년단(BTS) 정국이  MTV VMA SONG OF SUMMER (송오브섬머) 부문에서 2년 연속 노미네이트되었습니다. 

BTS정국의 솔로곡 SEVEN이 전세계적인 인기가 지속되고 있기 때문에 팬들은 정국의 수상을 기대하고 있습니다. 

 

MTV VMA가 공식 홈페이지와 SNS에 발표한 올해 수상 후보의 명단에 따르면 

정국은 SEVEN (feat. Latto)로 송 오브 섬머(song of summer)부문 후보에 이름을 올렸습니다. 

 

지난 7월 발표된 정국의 seven은 뜨거운 인기속에 글로벌 차트에서 흥행을 이어가고 있는데요.

뜨거운 인기만큼 수상의 영광도 함께 얻을 수 있기를 기대합니다. 

 

MTV VMA는 오는 12일 미국 뉴저지주 푸르덴셜 센터에서 개최됩니다. 

MTV VMAs는 그래미어워즈, 빌보드뮤직어워즈, 아메리칸 뮤직어워즈와 더불어 미국 4대 대중음악 시상식입니다. 

 

이번 시상식에는 BTS의 정국 외에도 많은 K팝 스타들이 후보에 올랐습니다.

K팝 보이그룹의 퍼포먼스로 세계를 사로잡은 투모로우바이투게더(TXT)와 스트레이키즈(STRAY KIDS)

무섭게 떠오르며 세계인의 사랑을 받고 있는 뉴진스(NEW JEANS)가 대표적입니다. 

 

현재 논란이 되고 있는 피프티피프티(FIFTYFIFTY) 역시 예상대로 후보에 올랐습니다.

BTS’ Jungkook nominated for MTV VMA ‘Song of Summer’ category for 2 consecutive years

It will be held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA on the 12th.

According to the additional list of this year's award candidates announced by 'MTV VMA' on the official website and SNS on the 1st (local time), Jungkook won the 'Song of Summer' category with 'Seven (feat. Latto)' Named as candidate.

 

Jung Kook, who was the first Korean solo artist to be nominated for ‘Song of Summer’ last year for his collaborative song ‘Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)’ with Charlie Puth, achieved the feat of being nominated for the award in this category for two consecutive years.

 

Jungkook's ‘Seven’, released last July, continues to be a long-running success on global charts amidst its huge popularity. This song ranked 24th on the latest ‘Top 100’ chart released by the UK Official Charts on the 1st, up 2 places from last week, and has been on the charts for 7 consecutive weeks.

 

‘Seven’ maintained the top spot in Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ on the 31st of last month for 7 consecutive weeks, and maintained the top spot in ‘Daily Top Song Global’ for 48 days.

 

Meanwhile, ‘MTV VMA’ will be held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA on the 12th and will be broadcast through the American TV channel MTV.
